The world’s most popular Content Management System (CMS) is releasing a major update in mid-2018.
Back in 2001, WordPress was born out of a desire for a smart personal publishing system. It start life being built on PHP and MySQL, licensed under the GNU General Public License.
Today, 75 million websites are built on WordPress. That is over 25% of all the world’s websites.
