Happy 11th birthday, Google – What will the next 11 years hold?


Google is 11 years old today. The Google mark on the home page has been cleverly tweaked to ad another letter ‘l’ and make it look like two number ones – eleven!

So what does the future hold for this pre-teen of a search engine and it faces stiff competition from it friends in Seattle?

Well, Google should face the future relaxed and less stressed than its competition. As they all try and play catch up, Google is innovating its android platform and looking to introduce a range of wiz-bang intuitive software through the chrome platform.
OK, Google may loose some market share but what it looses in search volume it will more than make up for in new innovation for consumers and business alike.

So, as the candles have been blown and the last piece of birthday cake is chomped, this enfant terrible of search can sleep peacefully on its Birthday, safe if the fact that it is still top of the pile and looking down on those that never gave it a chance 11 years ago – Happy Birthday Google and here’s to the next 11!
